Who operates this service

Field Service Desk is operated by Jacobus Venter, 12 Goudrif Avenue, Allen Grove, Kempton Park, 1619, Gauteng, South Africa. Questions about cookies or device storage can be sent to prismage.visuals@gmail.com.

Why the service uses browser storage

Cookies support sign-in and security. Optional local job-card drafts use a separate browser database on a technician's device. Removing or blocking storage can affect sign-in, submission verification or unsent drafts.

Historical sign-in and security cookie observations

The following cookie families were observed on the previous desk.prismage-visuals.com service address during a signed-in browser check on 26 October 2026. The service moved to app.fsm-desk.com on 27 October 2026, with authentication at clerk.fsm-desk.com. The old domains and expiry observations below are historical evidence; they are not a current inventory of the new domain. Some names have an additional instance-specific suffix.

These expiry entries describe that browser check, not guaranteed storage periods. Providers can refresh cookies and browser settings can affect how long they remain. A cookie's expiry does not mean a sign-in remains valid until that date. Session cookies may also be affected by browser session restoration. Server-side account and log retention are separate from cookie expiry.

Public pages and appointment requests

The legal-document and public appointment pages do not initialise the application's Clerk sign-in provider. An available appointment request form loads Cloudflare Turnstile to verify submissions. Verification involves communication with Cloudflare. Depending on the provider configuration, security features may use additional browser storage. Not every public-page flow is claimed to be cookie-free.

For details about Turnstile processing, see https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ . The service company's information on its appointment form explains how it uses the details submitted.

Optional local job-card drafts

A technician can enable local drafts on their device. The browser database field-service-device-drafts-v1 stores the account/company/profile scope, the local-draft preference, job identifier and number, work-note fields, an original-record digest, a retry identifier and an update time. The application does not store authentication secrets in this draft database.

Drafts remain until synced or cleared. Field-view sign-out clears the current scope's local drafts. Changing profile or losing server access does not remotely erase old copies on the device. Clearing browser site data can remove unsent work permanently, so sync needed drafts before clearing it. This feature supports drafts in an already loaded field view; it does not guarantee that the application can start or sign in without internet access.

Analytics and cookies from related websites

No direct advertising or analytics tracker was found in the reviewed application source. A fresh private-window visit directly to this service, followed by sign-in, showed no _ga cookies. A normal browser profile did contain _ga cookies on the parent domain .prismage-visuals.com. Parent-domain cookies can also be available to subdomains.

These observations do not identify which site originally set those cookies or exclude tracking without cookies. The separate Prismage Visuals website may have different technologies and choices. No optional tracking consent is obtained through this notice.

Your controls

Use your browser's site-data settings to inspect, block or remove cookies and local storage. Removing sign-in cookies may sign you out. Removing the draft database can delete unsent work. The application no longer writes the old sidebar_state preference cookie; a copy from an earlier visit may remain until expiry or removal.

There is currently no optional-cookie consent banner in this application. If optional tracking is introduced, this notice and the relevant controls must be updated before that tracking is enabled.

Public-page and website observations

The operator reported no cookies appearing in a fresh signed-out private-window check of the public booking page on the previous domain on 26 October 2026. This observation concerns that cookie table and does not exclude other storage or background processing.

The landing website at fsm-desk.com prepares an enquiry email in the browser. Its script does not send the form, store drafts in a local database or load advertising/analytics scripts. Details are sent to the operator only if the visitor sends the email. Hosting-provider security and connection processing remain separate.

About this notice

This edition records the observations above and the 27 October domain move. The post-move authentication-cookie inventory and broader provider storage review are not established by those earlier checks. The effective date above identifies when this edition applies. Earlier editions remain available in the document archive.
